Apologies for the repost (x2), but I felt bad for forgetting about Marvel Rivals, so here we are 😭😭😭 --------------- Here is how we got on in the @nse_gg Spring 2024 Split! 🥇🥇🥇It seems people really took my words to heart after the Winter split, and decided that they were indeed going to "win a final" as we managed to win not 1, not 2, but all 3 of the finals we reached!!! 👑 Amazing performances from Apex, R6, and Valorant Storm were enough to win their finals - the latter 2 of which were on LAN on the Main Stage (see slides 2-3). Elsewhere, R6 Team 2 managed to make it to the podium - even managing to initially win their early duel against Team 1! 🔥 Overwatch Storm, MR Storm, and CS2 Storm Red all managed to make their way into Div 1 and Flameey managed to finish a grand 82 places higher in TFT this split. 🥂 Overall for the year we managed to finish 3rd place, making it podium finishes in back-to-back years (we finished 2nd place last year; although we actually won more tournaments this year)! 🦢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🦢Hopefully we can carry on our winning ways next year, and take even more trophies home! bg source: magicalduck21
Unfortunately, this year, our 3 year Varsity win streak came to an end, with Cardiff defeating us 5-3 on home turf. Regardless, huge thanks to everyone who played, watched, or helped with production. Special thanks to the @cardiffuniesports committee for hosting and organising the event without any catastrophic issues occurring, and to @zach_markusson (aka Kruzzzzy) for putting in so much work on our half! Anyways, next year we will come back stronger and reclaim our crown 👑 Final results for our NSE season will also be shared soon, so keep an eye out for that 🤗
